Save Our Scene named DJ Mag Underground Heroes 2025
We’re incredibly proud to share that Save Our Scene has been named and awarded Underground Heroes 2025 by DJ Mag.
Last night was one we’ll carry with us for a long time. A packed room, a powerful energy, and a moment that felt bigger than just an award. Thank you to everyone who voted and to DJ Mag for recognising the work happening across grassroots music at such a critical time.
The evening was also an important platform to address the elephant in the room. Grassroots venues are under unprecedented pressure and real action is needed, not just words.
That’s why we want to recognise and thank AEG Presents, SJM Concerts and Kilimanjaro Live for leading the way by pledging £1 per ticket from major shows to the LIVE Trust. This commitment will make a genuine and lasting impact.
Huge respect and love to the other nominees DJAG, Grace Ladoja, Gut Level and Nathanael Williams. Every one of you is deeply deserving and we salute the work you continue to do.
This award is shared with our heroes at Music Venue Trust, who have played a crucial role in our journey and continue to fight relentlessly for the future of grassroots music.
We’re just getting started and we can’t wait to show what’s coming next with the Liveline Fund in 2026.
